Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a new member to our team to provide technical support to our customers. You will accompany Geotec users in their day-to-day use of the software. You will be the link between the users and the development team. You will contribute to enhancing the functionality and user-friendliness of Geotec following user comments and your own quality analysis.

Job type: Part-time (Full-time to be discussed)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Geotec users in their day-to-day use
  • Provide assistance in the installation of Geotec
  • Provide trainings (both distance and in-person) on Geotec
  • Create video and written tutorials
  • Perform quality control of Geotec
  • Improve Geotec documentation

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of databases (Access, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Prior knowledge of Geotec is a plus
  • Experience in Geotechnical Engineering or Computer Software Development is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to telecommute at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English – Bilingual (French) is a plus
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong software learning ability
