Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Solutions Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving Geotec’s commercial growth, primarily in North America, by engaging with industry stakeholders and supporting the successful implementation of the software.
You will be responsible for industry outreach, identifying and developing relationships with potential clients, and promoting Geotec through targeted presentations and product demonstrations. Your focus will be to understand client needs and ensure they fully leverage Geotec to enhance their geotechnical data management processes.
Acting as a bridge between clients and the development team, you will contribute to both business development and implementation efforts, ensuring a smooth deployment experience and long-term client success.

Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Demonstrations
– Identify, approach and develop relationships with potential clients
– Participate in sales presentations by demonstrating Geotec’s features and benefits.
– Address technical inquiries and set up trials with prospective clients during the sales process.
– Attend conferences, webinars, and engage with industry professionals to generate leads
Client Deployment
– Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and workflows.
– Support implementation, deployment and early-stage use
Continuous Improvement
– Gather feedback from clients to identify software enhancement.
– Collaborate with the development team to implement improvements based on client feedback.
Marketing efforts
– Contribute to marketing initiatives, including content creation and maintaining Geotec’s presence on professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn)
Qualifications
– Background in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Experience and interest in sales, ideally within the geotechnical or technical software market.
– Experience in deploying and configuring software applications, preferably within the geotechnical or geological sectors.
– Familiarity with geotechnical principles and laboratory tests is an asset
– Preferable experienced with Geotec or similar geotechnical data management & analysis software.
– Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.
– Position conducted in English; proficiency in French is an asset
– Proactive and self-driven, focused on building high-quality client relationships.
– Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
– Willingness to travel occasionally (conferences, client visits, product demonstrations or training sessions).
– Authorized to work in Canada.
