Training
SobekSoft offers comprehensive training courses for the familiarization and learning of our
products. These courses are offered at our office (1010 Sherbrooke West in Montreal).The courses
are one day long and include practical examples. The topics covered are:
Data entry forms for exploration
X3D user interface
Dam module (conception of dams)
DBM module (database management)
Lab module (laboratory tests)
Log module (boring logs)
Pro module (profile view of geotechnical properties)
Site module (management of data with spatial referencing)
Sm2 module (mapping and modeling)
The cost of the training varies according to the number of people from a given company
registered for a course : $500 for the first person, $400 for the second person, and $300 for
each additional person. We require 2 people minimum, and 6 maximum.
On demand training
These courses are oriented according to the goals outlined by the client. They are offered
by SobekSoft either at our office or at a location agreed upon by the client and SobekSoft.
These personalized courses are based on questions and concerns of the users. Problems related
to the installation and configuration of computer equipment, to the installation and
administration of networks, to communication protocols between different operating systems,
to the management and optimization of databases and to the use of commercial software can also
be resolved by our specialists.
The courses are available at an hourly rate of $100, including the transportation.
